THE SPIRIT OF ESCH
Born from a city of steel and culture.
Skyfall Gin was established in Esch-Uelzecht as a new-generation spirits brand. While Luxembourg is defined by tradition and quiet excellence, our roots inspired a different path—combining the precision of our heritage with the creative energy of a modern industrial urban landscape.
Shaped by a steel-mining past, Esch grew as the industrial and cultural capital of the South, forging a city—and its people—with a bold, direct character.
Both grandfathers of the founder worked in the steel industry, part of the generation that built the city.
From this heritage emerged the mindset “Vun der Long op d’Zong”—theart of saying things as they are, with no filters—where authenticity comes first and nothing is hidden. This is why Skyfall doesn’t follow the rules; it sets its own and stays true to its origins.
Over the years, Esch has become a truly open and cosmopolitan community, and that duality is what we embody in our spirits: raw and refined, local and international.

THE CREATION OF A PASSION
Tradition,rewired.
In the early 1920s to ’40s, it was common to use the small excess of fruit from family gardens to create homemadewines and spirits.
This was no different for our founder’s great-grandparents, who produced very small batches of red currant wine and and a local spirit known as "eau de vie."
This occasional tradition was passed down through the generations, eventually reaching a generation with a particular interest in winemaking and distillation.This marked the true beginning of our journey, built on the mindset that we aren’t born with a passion; we create it.
This passion was refined over the years by testing over 300 different gin recipes—learning the craft, and yes, mainly crafting imperfect batches.
After years of experimenting, researching, and perfecting, we forged the blueprint for our first final gin recipes.
THE PROCESS
PREMIUM INGREDIENTS, INNOVATIVE PRODUCTION

Great spirits are built on three foundations: exceptional ingredients, a production process that respects them, and time.
For Skyfall Gin, we use only premium botanicals—some sourced locally from our forests and gardens, others selected from around the world—to ensure the finest possible base. We combine these botanicals at different stages, using some fresh and some dried at their peak, allowing every ingredient to express its purest and most vibrant character.
Our distillation is based on a “gin basket” process rather than standard maceration. This method keeps individual aromas intact, resulting in a spirit that is cleaner, smoother, and more refined.
After distillation, our gin undergoes a nine-stage filtration process and is then rested, allowing the aromas to fully settle and reach perfect balance. Following this, we apply a “cold-infusion” method to further enrich our gins with select botanicals, adding depth, complexity, and balance.
By blending classic gin foundations with unexpected botanicals, we create spirits that feel modern, expressive, and alive—respecting tradition, but never limited by it.
